Heidi Hess, MS, LPCC | hhess@princeofpeacedublin.org

Heidi holds a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Dayton. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio. Heidi has been practicing since 1999 and has experience in private practice, crisis management, inpatient psychiatric hospital systems, and as a guest lecturer and consultant regarding behavioral health issues. She has also worked as an Adjunct Professor for the Clinical Counseling Master’s degree program for the University of Dayton. She is experienced working in all modalities of psychotherapy: Individuals, Couples, Families, and Groups. Heidi specializes in working with adults of all ages, and has significant experience working with the geriatric population and families addressing dementia and other illnesses specific to older adults. Her interests include working with alcoholism/addiction issues. Heidi has been the recipient of several awards including: Outstanding Clinician of the Year at Netcare Access, and as Director of the most Outstanding Clinical Education Program of the year for Horizon Health.

Emily holds a Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. She is a licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Ohio. Emily has been practicing since 2006 and has had the privilege of working with clients from many different backgrounds presenting for treatment with a vast array of issues. Emily is experienced working in all modalities of psychotherapy: Individuals, Couples, Families, and Groups. She specializes in working with conflictual families and couples, as well as children and adolescents experiencing a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues. Emily’s therapeutic strengths also include addressing: parenting/co-parenting, trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, divorce, and the impact of intergenerational patterns on the family system
